Trouble du déficit de l'attention (TDA)
Maison de la culture de Longueuil
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a body of work consisting of five paintings and a musical composition. While the title of the exhibition and the situations illustrated in painting refer to distraction, a limitation specific to this disability, it is more in the spirit of vicariance that these few works were created. This term proposed by neuroscientist Alain Berthoz names a phenomenon specific to life, that is to say, the strategies for getting around it when the living comes up against an obstacle. This problem-solving mechanism, through the astonishing solutions it brings, qualifies every living being as fundamentally creative. This exhibition is therefore a tribute, not to Attention Deficit Disorder, but to all the astonishing things that a scattered person can create.
